~Lately I’ve been trying to eat a little healthier, and what could be healthier than Greek yogurt? I’ve never been that big a fan of Greek yogurt, mainly for its texture and distinct taste, but I was willing to give it another try. And I’m glad I did!
It started about a week ago when I went grocery shopping and I found a box of 8 Chobani Flips for about $12. At first I passed it because I was worried I wasn’t going to like them and it would be a waste of money, but after some consideration I decided to be brave and put it in my cart. The box had 4 different flavors: strawberry cheesecake, key lime pie, s’mores, and cookies & creme. The first one I tried was the strawberry cheesecake: delicious! The yogurt by itself was not as bad as I thought it would be; it was sweet, a little tart but also very creamy. The crumble mix-ins enhanced the flavor and the crunchy element added was delightful.
Now I try to pack one in my lunch for work, eat it as a pre workout snack, or I try to eat one at night before bed, since I tend to wake up hungry (and sometimes hangry haha).
Yesterday was grocery shopping again and I found the box of 8 Flips on sale for $1.99!!! I thought it had to have been some kind of mistake or typo, but sure enough when the cashier rung me up it said $1.99 😀
